Pages and blocks
Scriptor pages are built from blocks — modular pieces of content you can add, edit, and reorder. This keeps long documents easy to scan and update.
Page titles and icons
Every page has a title at the top. Select the icon area next to the title to pick an emoji or image icon so pages are easy to recognize in the sidebar and search results inside your workspace.
Working with blocks
Click into the page body to start writing. Common block types include:
- Paragraphs with rich text formatting
- Bulleted and numbered lists
- Headings to structure longer docs
- Callouts for tips, warnings, or highlights
- Links to other pages in your workspace
Use the block menu or keyboard shortcuts to turn a line into a different block type, move blocks up or down, or delete content you no longer need.
Nested sub-pages
Drag a page under another page in the sidebar to nest it. Nested pages are useful for wikis, project folders, and breaking large topics into chapters.
Templates
When a page is empty, Scriptor can suggest templates — meeting notes, project briefs, and other starting points. Open the template gallery from the empty state or browse templates from your library.
Locking and read-only pages
Page owners can lock a page to prevent edits. If you have view-only access, the editor stays read-only and sharing controls show your permission level.
